a.  Talking about upcoming campus elections, the student body president, Eli Begay, said:  “I’m stepping down, after my term is complete, I encourage all students to consider running for office, but if they’re not up for it then they should at least vote, because, their votes really make a difference.”

b.  Bryan Roberts, a Professor in the Theater Department, said:  “For a department as small as ours, we do a great job of set design and costume, we’ve got some talented artists, that’s for sure.  We’re always looking for people who want to volunteer, and get some great experience to put on their resume.”

c.  Jana Grey, a student who works with the Office of Admissions as a recruitment ambassador, said: “We’re really trying to reach out to a diverse community, as we recruit, that is important because we value diversity, not only in ethnicity and gender but also in age, and other ways, the multitude of experiences that a wide range of students brings to the classroom and college community is a real plus.”

d.  Dawn Thompson, a geology major, said:  “It might surprise you how geologically rich this area is, we live on top of some fascinating rock.”
